From this, reflection on a certain sensation leads to ideas of different depths. He believes that there is no cause for people to believe that the soul can ruminate even without the utilization of the senses. For someone to have an awareness, he must first draw out from his situation. Every experience is a phase of development for increasing potentials. With man’s innate ability to discover and make sense of his world, he can discover natural laws. Common sense argues that there is a needed relationship between cognition and external reality in order for knowing to ensue.

The emergence of intelligence corresponds to the concern of mechanisms surrounding an individual. When it comes to internal factors, each person is indeed born equipped with a mind. Totally, the mind is empty of knowledge at birth and thoughts are created through a method of persistent integration and disintegration of the raw data via what has been seen or heard. When it comes to instincts, the environment is still important in triggering a reaction from the mind. Hence, a person’s sensation and perception are still greatly involved.

Empiricism is not only applicable at the present situation. It is needed for future application of ideas since current knowledge is being enriched as man goes through different stages of his
