The Omaha System is based on empirical information and is an all-inclusive practice and documentation standardized taxonomy designed to describe customer care. The Omaha System comprises an assessment component called a problem Classification Scheme, a care plan/services element called an Intervention Scheme, and an evaluation component known as the challenge rating scale for results(Allender et al. 2014).
Global Information Systems (GIS)
Global Information Systems are computer-based systems that can link the location and features of things in a dynamic and flexible manner. It connects these things into a single analytical setting in order to come up with insights that would be impossible using only traditional database technology. (Allender et al. 2014). GIS can offer a method of linking diverse data together by identifying the location of things in the relationship to each other. The aim of this is to render visible the stronger connections between things that may be necessary for the planning and evaluation of public health programs.
